Big Problem with workgroup/share and registry????

Still wading through it and not really understanding it. I am gettinga
longer netdiag test result though. What does error code 2 mean unable
to get computer name? I cant find this error code when I do a search

Malady,

Without seeing it, that sounds like a name resolution problem. So show it, in
its entirety, maybe the longer netdiag result will provide a clue. It would
also help to know what changes you've made since the previous netdiag. If based
upon one of my suggestions, which one? And the more detail you can provide, the
better. Don't make me guess please.
