Not necessarily. Not everyone sends feedback immediately upon receipt.
I sold hundreds of items on eBay. Sometimes months weeks and months
would go by before I received feedback from an individual. In the case
of ink, customers will often try the product first. If you read the
reviews you'll see people talking about the quality as well. And many
are repeat customers, which aren't shown.

And do you see the feedback feature any less credible than an anonymous
message posted via Google from someone identified as "Jane"? I too can
post anonymous messages as "Larry" if I choose too, and you'd have no
idea if it was real or a harassment message. I'm not saying that this
"Jane" isn't the lovely creature we hope she is, but you get my message
;-) . . .

True enough Taliesyn, but it does look like the majority of people do
tend to follow the get item, give positive feedback (it arrived.. miracle!).

If you take a peek at what people say about everest-teams for example
and then check out their support forum and some of the things being said
on the continuousink.com forum. Support is non existent, there's a slew
of problems with quality and once you've bought that's it, they ignore you.

... and yet... 99.2% positive feedback..

That said I'm seen a lot more positive feedback on forums from long term
users for the company. Anyway, my point is that ebay feedback is
something I would trust a firm last after all other review or feedback
options had been exhausted.

I trust negative feedback on eBay, and I read the statements. What I
trust a lot less is positive feedback there, because there are a few
tricks that sellers have used to discourage negative scores, including,
believe it or not, not-very-veiled threats.

So, if you trust negative feedback but distrust positive feedback on
eBay, what's your feeling about vendors with 100% positive ratings? You
see, I've considered doing a bit of selling on eBay to cut down on the
clutter and pick up a little pin money. My feedback, though strictly
from buying, is 100% positive. Does that mean you wouldn't consider my
stuff?

And no measekite, I'm not going into the aftermarket ink business.
