Beta Issues?

I used Sophos for removal and the detection page from freedom-to-tinker says
it didn't find codesupport, so the computer is grateful I didn't use Sony to
fix Sony's problem. : ) Thanks for the link... always good to be sure.

Glad to hear it. This one is continuing to have interesting twists to it.
There's a state lawsuit in Texas, in case you live there--under an
antispyware statute.

I don't know.

Let's see. In my case I use a combination of Protection software and windows
Internet options that have avoided me the pain of reviewing a bunch of
alerts based on cookies. For instance, I have my Internet Options Privacy
settings to medium high for members of users, and High for members of
administrators, and Advance Security settings to empty temporary Intenet
Files a when Browser is closed. Plus I use Norton Internet security with real
time protection enabled from startup for antivirus and firewall. I delete
files and browser history (Internet options) and use Disk Cleanup after long
workdays. Finally I Use Deslock+ for Shreder to "shredding" Browsing
history, IE Cache and temporary files.

For all of the above I don't expect to find alerts when runing MSAS and/or
Defender scans. Yet, I still run full scans once a week, after I finish
working on Fridays.

Seems like a lot of work, but it's all managed by schedule and it runs
practically on its own when I'm not using my PC. And I haven't had to perform
a painstaking a clean install, from scratch, in a long time (knock on wood).
