Best settings for NAV 2004?

Morey G.

Hello to all. I'm a long time PC user but never really got an answer to the
question "Should "Auto-Protect and Script Blocking be enabled?". I have NOT
activated them for years going back to when it first became an option,
primarily because of the difficulty it could possibly cause with other
programs. I always shut them down when performing maintenance tasks
(defrag, etc) and also when installing programs. Recently, my NAV 2004
program became corrupt on a laptop and one of my desktop PC's. I was
looking for some feedback and suggestions.

Thanks in advance for your help and best regards,
Morey G.

Yes, put on script blocking and auto protect on, that's one of the best
features of NAV. It's a much better product than it used to be, so it should
be able to run quietly in the background without disturbing anything,
including defrag, scan-disk, regclean, etc.
