Best DDR RAM for A7N8X M/B?

Hi

I am about to get my hands on an ASUS A7N8X Deluxe SKT A NForce 2 Chipset
Mobo Ver 2.0.

The processor i have is an AMD XP 2600+ 266MhZ FSB

Can anyone tell me what the best type of DDR RAM to get is to get this
processor at it's optimum (i.e. not over-clocking)?

I was wondering if it matter whether i get PC2100 or PC2700 or any of the
others to otimize this CPU.

Thanks for any help

Check the bottom of this page for guaranteed compatibility...
http://www.asus.com/prog/spec.asp?m=A7N8X Deluxe

I have:
Asus A7N8X Deluxe (Revision 1.04, BIOS 1002A)
AMD AthlonXP 2400+ @ 2800+ (TBred-B, 13.5 x 166, 1.7VCore)
1Gb (2 x 512) Samsung PC3200 400Mhz DDR RAM (M368L6423DTM/CC400)

Go for PC3200 if you can, you can always set it to a lower speed if so
required. It will also allow for some headroom with regards to overclocking
and/or a future CPU upgrade.

I've had excellent results using Crucial PC2700 and PC3200 on two nForce2
motherboards (A7N8X & 8RGA+). Highly recommended.

I'm having very good luck with my A7N8X Dlx v2.0 and a Barton 2500+
(333MHz) using Kingston HyperX PC2700 (2 sticks of 256MB).
