Benq S2W 5300U Scanner

I purchased a Benq S2W 5300U Scanner 3 years ago that works well on Windows
XP.

The drivers provided with my scanner 3 years ago will not make it work on
my new Windows Vista PC.

Benq no longer makes Scanners and did not update their drivers for their
Benq Scanners to work on Windows Vista, according a phone call to their
company.

Is their any where I can obtain a driver for a Benq S2W Scanner to work on
my new Windows Vista PC ?

The honest truth is, if its not supported by the manufacturer, its just not
gonna work. I had an IBM IdeaScan 2000 that came with my IBM aptiva (Windows
98), there were work arounds to get it working under Windows 2000 and XP,
but man it was a head ache.

So, it would be best to just invest in a new compatible scanner that
supports Windows Vista.
