Hi All,
I assign people tasks using Outlook 2003. (No exchange server, just a
personal copy of Outlook 2003 on my side and the task receiver's side.
A while back, I backed up everything from Outlook into a PST folder,
formatted my hard drive, reinstalled Windows and Office. When I
imported my PST folder back into Outlook, all the tasks I had
previously assigned to people were now showing that *I* was the owner,
and it seemed that Outlook retained no memory of the fact that the
tasks are assigned.
Why is this happening, and how do I prevent this from happening again?
This time, I want to be able to back up my entire Outlook and be
confident that when I import the stuff back in, the task ownership
remains. This is possible, right?
Thanks,
Mike
