Beeping trusted zone!

Last night, while foolishly looking for a desktop wallpaper for my
computer I hit a site which was supposed to be for this but was in
fact some hard core porn thing which immediately tried to install all
sort of nasty stuff on my machine. Although I did eventually manage to
shut down IE there some things which had got onboard, including a
couple of diallers and some hijacking stuff. I think I've cleaned
everything away but what annoyed me was when I ran Hijackthis it
showed about ten things in my trusted zone... I've never added
anything there. I clicked the button to show info and it said some
programmes, including IE6, will set stuff into the trusted zone
without asking!

Is this what MS mean by security?

No, nothing should be there, if you didn't add it. I would suggest running
this combo including HT again. Good luck!

Run Ad-Aware SE, Spybot and HijackThis:
http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloads31.html

Note: Update each program, once installed, before running.

Note2: To avoid the False-Flag for the DSO Exploit (W3), open
Spybot/Advanced Mode/Settings/Ignore Products. On the All Products Tab,
scrol to DSO Exploit and check that item only. Randy (silj)
