BCC Field/Birthday Reminders?

Two distinct questions...

1) How do you get a BCC field to appear in your new mail compose window all
the time? Only "To:" and "CC:" currently appear in my window.

2) If you have people's birthdays inserted in their contact information, is
there any global setting where Outlook can remind you of all people's
birthday (say a week in advance and then again the day before, or something
like that)? This would be without having to create an individual reminder
for each person's birthday.

As always, appreciate it.

1) Word editor: Options buttons; Outlook Editor: View menu
2) The birthday should be added to the calendar with a reminder set. You
cant set two reminders - but you could use a view to show only upcoming
birthdays and check it weekly -

a task - drag the b-day to the task folder to create it automatically.

Regarding (1), can you be more specific? I'm having trouble figuring out
where I need to go in these menus to permanently add a "Bcc:" field. Thanks!

Which editor do you use?

If Word - there is an Options button above the email fields. It has a small
down arrow to expand it. Click the arrow to expand the menu.

If Outlook's editor:
Look on the View menu when composing the message.

In either case, once you select BCC field, it should display until you turn
it off by repeating the steps.

Also, if you click the To button and open the Address book, you can type an
address in the BCC field and Outlook automatically displays the field once
it has an address in it.
