Well, if you would have done a search before posting you would have actually
seen that several people have it working. Same if you looked in the
Battlefield forums.

So, what you are really asking is, "Has anyone else gotten battlefield
1942\2\2142 to work under Vista ?, if so what config ?" and then you would
give a description of your problem and the specs of your hardware.

At which time I (and others) would have responded saying BF2142 works fine
under Vista (though not awesome). I would have added that I've played BF2
and even Battlefield1942 with the Desert combat mod under Vista.

Now that I got the lecture out of the way, what video card are you using ?
Lots of problems being reported with nVidia cards at the moment. what other
system specs you got going ? I have an ATI card, and one night I played
about 4 hours of BF2142.

So give us the scoop on what you are working with and we'll try to get ya
going

I have BF2142 working on Vista Enterprise perfectly fine..(infact I think
better than under XP).

A few points.. You definatly need to get Vista drivers for you video card..
I use Nvidia.. go to www.nvidia.com and download the latest drivers for your
card.

Secondly when you have installed it, ensure that the shortcut is set to run
as an administrator or you will keep getting booted from servers due to
punkbuster..

It runs awesomely on my Vista X64 box, still with a quad CPU, SLi
8800GTX's, 4G PC6400 ram I guess it ought to.
