I have a Group Policy setup to run a bat file from a
network drive. When the user logs in, i dont see the bat
file running. But in the proccess xcopy is running. XCopy
being part of the bat. How do i get it so that i can see
the bat file run at logon. The Active Directory server is
windows 2003 and the workstation is Win2000 pro.

Scripts that run under GPO, don't show their cmd window, but you can change
this behavior by changing following GPO setting.
User Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Logon\Logoff\Run logon
scripts visible

as described in http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=265016
