Banner ads in FrontPage 2003

What happened to banner ads in FrontPage 2003? The ones
with the changing pictures. All the help topics for banner
ads start off by saying "the following applies to earlier
versions of FrontPage.

Thanks!

I hate to jump on here Tom...but that is not exactly what he is asking for.
You steered him toward Banners, but I believe he wants the Banner Ad
Manager.

The banner ad manager uses the Java Applets and all features that use this
technology have been removed from the default menus. If you really want to
include a banner ad, you need to realize that anyone without the Java
Virtual Machine installed won't see it correctly (and you probably won't see
it in preview mode, either).

That said, you can add it back to your toolbars by right clicking the
Standard toolbar and choosing Customize. Then scrolling through the Insert
menu from the "Commands" tab.

Thanks! I've spent the past hour drudging through the help menus and knowledge base for help. Shame on Microsoft for removing this and not putting reference to it in the help file.

It is still available, but you have to add it back to the menu from the tool well.

Keep in mind that MS no longer distributes the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) with Windows XP or IE6, so
many users will not be able to see any Java applets unless they have taken the time and effort to
download the Sun version.
