Backup Utility

Anybody know how to get the backup utiltiy in Windows XP
professional to use a CD-R/RW drive. My computer defaults
to the Floppy drive and I can't change it to anything else
other than a file on my hard drive. that is useless
though, because I don't have any other backup type
programs to use.

the backup utility os not designed to write directly to
cd...it has no IMAPI support at all.. your only choice is
to back up your sellection to a location on your
harddrive and use the "send-to" option under your right-
click, or 3rd-party software to burn it to a CD. If you
have explored the options avaliable for making a backup
and understand the process of ammending you could see how
this is most often impossble because of the way cd's are
written. If you are unfamiliar with it, i encourage you
to explore a bit.
