Backup utility

I've been trying to backup data over my home network to my
WIN2K machine. I have a Maxtor8 28G HD installed and
dedicated to backups. The Maxtor is formatted as FAT32,
and it is on the WIN2K HCL. When I try to backup 10G of
data from a WIN98 machine it hangs and says "Unexpectedly
reached the end of media."
I've also tried using the WIN98 backup utility and I get
the same error.

Any ideas?
