Hi,

I'm running Windows XP Pro and I partitioned the drive so that the D:
partition contains the My Documents, Favorites, Desktop, etc folders.

When I use the Windows Backup utility, and I select to backup "My
Documents and Settings" it appears to still want to look in the C:
drive. Is there a way to make it find the right path, without always
having to "browse" to that location on the D: drive each time I do a
backup?

Thanks.

Jim

If you want to 'backup' the contents and items covered by 'My Documents and
Settings' the best way is to run the 'Files and Settings Transfer Wizard'
[FAST}.

This will allow you locate the created file in any disk or folder [not
direct to CD or DVD].

To make your Documents point to the location at d:\foldername, right-click
on My Documents Icon in the Start Menu and select Properties. Type the
Target path , d:\foldername, then apply.
