Backup Media Pool

I'm using Windows 2000 (couldn't find it in the newsgroups, so I'm asking
this here). I have a Sony AITi100A/S tape drive.

When NT Backup runs, two media pools are created. One is called 8mm AIT1 and
the other is 8mm AIT. If I delete the 8mm AIT, the program that calls for the
backup will run properly, but then the 8mm AIT media pool appears again. The
backup will fail until I delete that new pool again.

Any ideas? I was wondering if there is a way to script it so that I can just
put it in scheduler.

Thanks.

Here's a link to the MS newsgroups on the Web. Expand
microsoft.public.win2000 and pick one.
