I have created a sheet which is a permit to work. I want the radiation
symbol to be displayed in the background like a water mark in word How do i
go about it. The picture is a gif file and the transparency option is not
available

Thank you for the promptness.

I tried that but observed that the picture is spread all over the sheet. I
need it only in the text area and it should be as a water mark so that the
text that will be printed will be visible.

I did it.

I inserted a shape and in the shape I inserted the Hazard symbol( TREFOIL)
and then used transperency and also removed teh borders
