background music v. narration

is there a way to "turn down the volume" on the background
music media, so that the voice narration is more audible.

all slides have narration.
first slide has multimedia icon for background music -
continue through 24 slides.

You'll need to turn the volume down in a sound editing program and then
reinsert the sound into PPT.
