Back up to external drive

Backed up c drive to external drive. Document file on both drives
disappeared, ie, no individaual files. Lost all photos, word perfect
documents, saved emails, etc. Document file on both drives show: ESBK 7,949
KB MBB file and ESBK 7,3609 KB MB file.

Cannot open files. Get message that file format not recognized. No restore
point due to restore "off". Help Please!

What are these files?

What are these files?

They may be compressed files created by the backup program you used. Use the
Restore feature of the same program to copy back the original files.
