When navigating through money.cnn.com and using the back key,the browser
will not return to the previous page. When I display the list of previously
visited pages I see multiple entries of the same pages URL.The back and
forward keys will not display previously visited pages.

This also occurs when navigating www.lucianne.com.This has just recently
started to occur.I have now upgraded to IE 7 and the same situation exists.

I am using WinXP Professional.

Can't find a thing concerning this problem with Google.

That one works for me but there is an intervening popup.
How are you treating popups?

In general it is a symptom of web page design intended to prevent you
from doing what you are trying to do. If you do want to go back you
may have to either use the View Go To> submenu or quickly press Stop
to prevent an automatic redirect from the real page that you arrived from.

Popups are blocked at a medium level.I turned off blocking and the problem
still occurs.
I also tried view,go to,back and the problem still occurs.

I agree it is a function of web page design but can find nothing in IE to
fix it.

I can work around it if there is no easy fix.

Thanks for your response.
