Here are some interesting tools that I have found recently. I will update and add to the list periodically, as I find them. *Note: I didn't write these. I don't "support" them, only have used them from time to time with success. You are responsible if you blow up your machine. Back up your stuff.


TreeSize Pro - Allows you to see your system as Windows Explorer does, but with more details

WinDirStat - Another graphical display of file usage and location

BlueScreenView - Read those dump files that are created when your computer craps out with a BSOD

CCleaner - Registry and Temp file cleaner-upper. Good for long time operating machines that have cluttered registries.

I use windirstat, very handy and great for seeing whats eating disk space. :)

Will have to take a look at the other two in a mo.

The blue screen viewer just helped me in a situation. It is good to have an app like that that doesn't require coding knowledge to get it to work.

WinDirStat will come in very handy indeed - been looking for something like this so I can get my disk cleaned up. :thumb:
