avoid user/password to enter Win2000

i'm trying to avoid the passoword thing in Win2000 . I have the admin.
password , only wants no user/password to enter to windows, just enter
directly to my desktop. If this is possible in Win2000.

Yes it is. Go to control panel\users choose the user you wish to
automatically logon and when selected deselect the "Users must enter a user
name and password to use this computer". It will prompt for the password
and will logon automatically from now on.

If you want to automatically logon to the domain, you'd best modify the
following registry values. These are:

AutoAdminLogon [REG_SZ] = 1
DefaultDomainName [REG_SZ] = PCName
DefaultUserName [REG_SZ] = UserName
DefaultPassword [REG_SZ] = Password

The key is HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

I've been meaning to write an article on this, but haven't got around to it
