AVG update timer

Hi group,

I'm a very content AVG user and have no intention to switch to another
anti-virus-software.
One thing I would like to change though is the done-with-update-timer.
What I mean is that after an update, AVG brings up the
"succesfully-updated-message", with a 30 second countdown timer. Is
there a way to change the 30 seconds to let's say 5 seconds ?
TIA

No, can't be changed but you can click OK at 29 seconds to get rid of it.

If you enable scheduled updates and you allow updates to happen
automatically, you won't get the timer.

Well, I do, but I still get the timer.
However, in control center>update manager, I unchecked "display
information about the update process", which did the trick.
Thank you all for replying.

With Symantec buying AVG, I wonder. I have had problems with Symantec
programs crashing my machine so I took them off.

My remark was intended to avoid "use Avast instead"- and "use Antivir
instead"-replies. I just wanted an answer to my AVG-question, nothing
else. If AVG gives me problems in the future I'll change to another
anti-virus-program, but for now: I'm a very content AVG user.
