AVG mail scanner

Hi

When I download mail the AVG scanner is going through another server,
a dedicated host it says, this is new since the last two days.

Any ideas why this is and is it from AVG self or have I got something
in my Browser / mail programm?

stop using AVG..it sucks. It is worse on detection and the update
servers are many times too busy.

if you want to use a free AV program use Avast!

I have no problem updating AVG Free!

if you want to use a free AV program use Avast!

It is an OK AV program.

when downloading mail and if this is from AVG or something that got
into my mail client.

I don't have any problems getting updates.

I've had a problem two days in about the last thirty. But hey! you
can' beat the price, and the reviews are good (with the single
exception of JJ .

Hi,

All cleared now, it was the other end that had setup a dedicated host
that I was not informed about, so my PC was connecting to it.

So, all ok now PC and AVG!

Sorry once again if I caused any concern
