AVG and PC-cillin don't see "WORM_SWEN.A"

Hi,
Microsoft is bombing me!
I receive many emails with attachments. I tink I have a worm:
WORM_SWEN.A
In Eudora I have many, many infected files (40-50 files) in "Attach"
folder.
I received them from WORM_SWEN.A but my AVG Antivirus doesn't see
them.
I have just updated my AVG and when it runs it doesn't see those
infected files. I have gone also to the PC-cillin site and I have
scanned online my HD but also PC-cillin doesn't see those infected
files. Why?
How can I delete them? Is there a tool that remove that worm?
Thanks very much

bye Fogar

This is a post from another news group(I sniped the address to the virus.
;) ).
I got sent an executable file about 12 times in my incoming email
today along with a spam message. The file seems odd as it appeared
under several names attached to several messages but was the same
size.

I scanned the files using NAV but it came up with nothing.

I changed the file extension from EXE to TXT in order to try to see
what it was but I couldn't spot anything.

Can someone have a look at it for me please. I have zipped it for
safety and placed it at:

http://snip.pack636.zip

It is about 50K when zipped. Thank you for any feedback and info.

AVG says it's the Swen Virus . I think you need to update your av
definitions .

And I have seen others saying AVG has caught the Swen Worm. So Fogar, you
must have some other problem. I have been going to www.grisoft.com to get
updates. The auto-update is not getting the latest updates now that AVG
updates are getting smaller.

Hi,
I went to www.grisoft.com and I downloaded the latest update but it
has a bin extencion. How can I launch it?
This update is: u7avi135.bin
Thanks Fogar

It goes in the update folder.

......Grisoft/AVG/Update and should be incorporated when
next it is started.

I'm sorry but I haven't the Update folder in Grisoft/AVG/
Why?

Sorry Fogar, I guess they do it different now. It was in a
subdirectory of "Program Files", but they might have made
some changes since I last used the program.
