AVG 7 Prob ?.........

Is anyone else having problems updating AVG 7 (free) ?

It will say it has downloaded then just sends a pop up which says :..

'Update was unsuccessful' -

result is, I haven't managed to update for days now ?

Yes I get this error 50% of the time. Still don't know what it is

Yes I get this error 50% of the time. Still don't know what it is
though I have a few theories.

I get a similar problem; it downloads the update, appears to apply it
and either right then or the next time I try to update I get a message
that says something along the lines of "Previous update not
successful, unable to initiate update module, reinstall the damn app."
(slightly paraphrased).

So I reinstall, but after a few updates the problem comes back.
So far only on one machine, though...

the entire Grisoft site has been down for some time. Looks like AVG has
been hit by a virus!!!!!
