Avast

Used to use KIS, then read on here and a few other places abut free AV and first tried Avira, but got annoyed with the pop ups (FBS has mentioned this) then installed Avast which has done me good. I also use Comodo firewall, and don't get any nasties. Avast seems to be unintruesive, at around 1 am I will here a message saying Avast has been updated, but other than that, thats all I hear, it also uses a lot less RAM than Avira and KIS did

Antivir ads on the free version can be removed if you know how.

But tbh, you may as well just use MSE.
