autosave location loop

I had set the autosave location to a network share. That location has since
been migrated so every time autosave tries saving it gives me an error.
However, when I go to Tools>Options>Save, Excel gives me the same "cannot
access the directory...". Any Ideas?

One thing you could do is go into the registry (start, run, regedit) and look
for this key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Excel\Options

Then open the item called AutoRecoverPath, double click it and enter a valid
path in the box.

Of course all precautions about editing the registry apply! Make sure you know
what you are doing when editing the registry.
