Hello

It is very regrettable, that MS has removed the autosave
AddIn in Excel 2002. The function of autorecovery is not
as useful, as the document is not saved in .xls. Is there
any possibility or an additional software that enables the
autosave function again in Excel 2002? Or can the
extension of the saved document be changed to .xls?

Thank you for your help.

My autorecovery in Excel XP saves in .xls mode -- I personally feel that the xp
version is excellent -- it has saved my rear when we have had a power outage and
I have not saved the file at all

XL2002 does not include the AutoSave function. Autorecovery has taken its
place. As you know, not the same feature.

If you can find a copy of Autosave.XLA from an older version of Excel you can
load it and works fine.
