Autoplay Won't Remember My Choice!

O

Orson

Help! I can't get CD autoplay to remember my choice of setting. It
offers me a menu of programs to available ok, but even when I say
'Always Use This Action', it doesn't.

The next time I insert a disk, up comes the very same menu again. In
fact, every time.

All I want is for Windows Media Player to play my music and PowerDVD
to play my DVD's without asking.

I'm using XP SP2

TIA

Orson,

Autoplay Repair Wizard:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...B6-E8FA-45C4-A171-1B389CFACDAD&displaylang=en

In the 4th screen (i think) there is an option to reset the user
proferences. This clears the existing user chosen autoplay handler settings.
Clear it once and try again.
