Hi All,

I am using windows xp home sr2. For some reason I keep losing the autoplay
function for my cd drive. I found an autofix program for it but, I still
loose the function. Is there anything that I can do to fix this? Any help
would be much appreciated. thanks,

Hi Gary,
Try this fix from MVP Kelly Theriot:

Why doesn't AutoPlay work?

Also, be prepared for a possible onslaught of spam after posting an
"unmunged" e-mail address. :-(

Hi Curt,

When I view that page, there are only 6 FAQs, and "Why doesn't AutoPlay
work?" isn't one of them.

Actually this is browser dependent. It turns out that Netscape 7.2
displays only the first six, but MS Internet Explorer 7.0 displays all
of them.

This might explain why:
http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/top10faqs.htm

But if you click "Expand" at the top of the page, you get this:

http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/top10faqs2.htm

That's the link I usually send in posts. You have to scroll down to
find the right header, but at least you see all the FAQs
