Automating analyse with Microsoft excel

Hi

I hope you can help me. I have a form with a button on. When I click on the
button I need it to open a query and then open excel and transfer the query
result to excel for futher analysis. Basicly I want to automate the "Analyse
with Excel" feature in Access. Can Anyone help?

There is code in the query by form applet at
http://www.rogersaccesslibrary.com/OtherLibraries.asp#Hookom,Duane that does
this. Run one of the sample report/queries and find the On Click code for the
send button.

keep your DATA in SQL Server
and if you want to REPORT on your data then you should use 'Analysis
Services'


it's 100 times easier to deal with
you don't NEED to have 100 different copies of all of this data lying around
in random places
