Automatically deleting an appointment in a public folder

Hi All,

My agency is beginning to use public folders (calendar
view) to schedule conference rooms for meetings. When we
send a meeting request, we book the meeting room of choice
as a Resource so that it is automatically added to the
public folder. This works great. However, the problem lies
when cancelling a meeting. The meeting organizer can
cancel the meeting from his/her calendar and can send all
meeting attendees a note to that effect which removes the
meeting from THEIR calendars. However, the room booking
remains in the public folder calendar in additon to the
cancelation notice located at the same time in the public
folder so it appears listed twice. Is there any way to
avoid this? Can the meeting booking be deleted from the
public folder calendar when the organizer cancels the
meeting? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Lauren

Depending upon what version of Exchange... I would
look on Sue Mosher's slipstick site for some information.

We use the autoaccept on our Exchange 5.5 system.
