Automatic Updates Not Downloading

I did a search for this subject but didn't find anything similar.

Under Automatic Updates I have my machine set tp Notify me but don't
automatically download or install them.

In the last few days I have been receiving notices that udates are
available. I click on the balloon which says download these updates but the
balloon disappears and nothing happens.

I then manually go to the Windows Update Web Site and download them
manually. Which works fine.

Anybody got any idea why this is happening.

My setup is MS Windows XP Pro with all the updates.

I'm wondering if one of my antivirus or antispyware are interfering with the
download?

Any info welcome.

Try setting the updates to the automatic setting.

You can then check with the Belarc Advisor if the latest update has
been installed.
