Automatic Updates after SP2

After installing Service Pack 2, I have not received any Automatic Updates
on any of my 4 computers. Have the recent critical updates been made
available via Automatic Updates?

Yes there have been two, one is SP1 for .Net Framework 1.1 and another
is a GDI tool to check your system for software that has certain JPEG
related vulnerabilities documented in bulletin MS04-0028. Try windows
update directly. You can see that bulletin by going to here:

Best option is to visit windows update site and check there.

Yes, I know there have been 2, but my problem is that I am not getting them
via Automatic Updates. Has anybody else had this problem after SP2?

Others have reported that problem starting yesterday.

After I finished the sp2 upgrade, wu broke. A couple reboots fixed it. The
only issue I could find is that wu thinks that I cancelled the sp2
installation.

Since SP2 came out there have only been two important updates; one the
..NET 1.1 service pack (which is only critical to .NET framework, if that
has been installed) and the GDI+ check tool - which is not critical for
XP with SP2 installed as that is not vulnerable - so these may neither
have been offered automatically
