automatic slide advance

The automatic slide advance (after 1 second) only works the first time the
slide is visited. Is there a way to set it so that the slide will always
auto advance regardless if it is the first time or 10th time to the slide?

How are you getting back to the slide where the advance is not working?

Are you using a "return to last slide viewed" button to leave the slide in
question. If so this is a buG (or maybe feature) of powerpoint.

One way out is to make the multivisit slide a separate presentation. call it
with a "hyperlink to other presentation" action button and leave the multi
visit slide with an end show button.
