Automatic presentation with action buttons

Hi,
I have set up a presentation which goes through a number of slides providing
information about the building in which I work and have set it up on a large
screen for visitors. The presentation works perfectly and goes through all
the slides with the correct timings and then when it reaches the end it
starts from the begining again. To help make it more interactive I want to
put action buttons into it which allow anyone to control the presentation but
when I use the buttons the presentation seems to stops advancing correctly
and on most occasions will nly be advaced with the buttons when I want the
automation to kick back in. Does anyone have any ideas why? Like I say the
presentation is fully automatic until I press an action button.
Thanks in adavce
Chris

I think that this is what you need to do. I just tried it, and it worked.
You need a Resume button. This button will hyperlink to a blank that has
a 0 second transition to the next slide. If you want to resume automatic
transitions with the first slide, you can put this blank slide as your
first slide. If you want to resume the automatic transitions where you
left off, that will be trickier as you will need a blank slide before
every slide. If that is the case, there might be a solution with custom
shows that will work, but I'm not sure.

Thanks for your help David.
I tried your suggestion and it worked perfectly. I just hyperliked a box to
the fist slide, a new blank slide. However, the action button I used, which
I expected to do the same thing as the hyperlinked box didn't, even with the
blank slide at the begining of the presentation. I though that was quite
strange. It appears the problem occurs if I allow the presentation to start
and then use an action button to go back to the first slide it will not
progress the animation on that slide. If I then use an action button to
advance past the first slide the presentation takes over the on automatic
again.
Thanks again
Chris
