automatic login on win2000 professional

hi,
I would like my win 2000 professional pc would
automatically login after beeing turned on, using a
specific account.
From the control panel I open the users and passwords
menu, but I cannot find any setting to enable automatic
login.
On another pc, in the past, I've set it easily, but I'm
not sure there was the same service pack version...
Any suggesting?

This solution creates an automatic logon, with the
password stored unencrypted in the registry. Is there a
way to just maintain a default logon user ID, but still
require manual entry of the password? In other words,
regardless of the last logon, the same user account
appears at each new logon?
