Automatic Calendar Cleanup

Hi everybody,

I need to find a way to automate the calendar cleaning of our meeting room.

Basically my problem is that i got about 100 meeting room each with their
own mailboxes, calendar and quota enable on those mailboxes. Everything was
fine until now. Now, i got some meeting room that reach their maximum
capacity and the confirmation emails are not sent to the user because of
that. For the moment everytime a mailbox reach is limit i manually delete the
items in the calendar but that can be a permanent solution. Is there a way to
clean up those calendar without having to login to each mailboxes and keep
about 6 month of appoitment.

any help will be appreciate.

regards

What version of Exchange? You'd use Exchange server's Mailbox manager to
clean up the mailboxes. Put the meeting rooms in their own group and apply
the policy to the the group. You can have it configured to delete mail in
the inbox after like 30 days (or less) or clean items off the calendar after
a longer period.

Hi Diane,

thx for the reply,

Actually, i'm on the user services side, so i don't have access to the
server directly. By the way, i know we use exchange 2003.

i had like to do this by myself but i think i won't have the choice to see
with our exchange team, you know sometimes buraucracy can be a pain ....

thx again!
