Automated Install

I tried to use the switches to setup a push-out install
to several machines. I used the following for a silent
install:

MicrosoftAntiSpywareinstall.exe /S /v/qn

It runs and the package installs but gives an error when
you try to run the program. It works fine on the same
machine when installed manually. Any ideas?

Hi Matthew,
There is no support at all for running the product in an Enterprise
version...at this time.
No announcement pro/con about one yet. It should be interesting as the
e-press is talking that malware worries the network guys/gals as much as a
virus.

I would say spyware is higher on our list than viruses at
this point. But I agree about the problem of not being able
to package this. I use Active Directory and tried to push
out the MSI, but it keeps giving me the damned Error 101.
But if we install it manually, it has no issues.

Hi,
It seems that there is a lot of surfing going on in the enterprise
environment. I consider myself lucky as we have 99% of machines set as
power users, and I think that helps cut down on it. The public machines are
all running Deep Freeze from Faronics, and whatever they catch goes away at
next boot.
