Autocorrect - template or computer

When I create an autocorrect entry, is there a way to put it in a template as
well as in my version of Word?

That depends on what kind of AutoCorrect entry it is. In the AutoCorrect
Options dialog, notice the option buttons that say "Plain text" and
"Formatted text". All Plain text entries are stored in .ACL files on your
computer, one file for each language. All Formatted text entries are stored
in your Normal.dot template. They are never stored in the templates used to
base new documents of specific kinds.

If your intention is to send AutoCorrect entries to other computers, it
can't be done -- at least, not properly -- by sending .ACL files and
Normal.dot. Instead, look into using the utility posted at
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/ExportAutocorrect.htm to export them
from one computer and import them on another.
