Will Renkel

I have win2k and IE6 with all updates
I have enabled autocomplete in Internet Options content and advanced sections
But it wont autocomplete anywhere
I searched many places and they all just say to set the options
in Internet Options section (which I have done)

Any suggestions/help?

Ok - went through list of things to do
and now got crazy stuff
saves ok on some login/password sites
does no save on others - no request to save
and on others enter login/password and then IE cant getto next page
and finally on some where it will need a login/password it cant even load that first page
I cleared TIF and cookies
I rebooted

Netscape 7 has no problems with any of this
except it will not ask to save on some sites
and on those it does it works just fine.

Some web sites are coded to preclude the use of the Autocomplete feature for
saving usernames and passwords as a security feature.

It now sounds like you are having trouble accessing secure (https://) sites:

I have isolated the problem to only those sites I had accessed before and had saved the login / password.
New site accesses and save are working OK.
Thanx for help

Here's the part of the registry that stores usernames/passwords on forms:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\IntelliForms\SPW
You could try deleting the entries there - after exporting the key as a
backup. The data there is encrypted for security reasons.
