autocomplete keeps popping up web address after clearing history

After clearing the history, I cannot seem to stop a particular web address
from popping up when typing in the address bar. Anyone know how to make it go
away?

How to delete TIF and History completely:

To delete the History folder and index.dat (XP)

Log on as Administrator and delete the desired <username> folder and
reboot.
(or log on as another user that has Administrator privileges)
Example: "C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\HISTORY"

Maybe it because you clear only history but not clear typed urls. Try
to use IEHistoryX from http://www.585Soft.com/IEHistoryX.asp
