AutoCad Attachments Not Opening

For some strange reason ever since I installed AutoCad LT 2007 I am unable to
email AutoCad drawings. Whenever the drawings are attached and emailed
through Outlook they default to Adobe Reader 6.0 format that neither myself
nor others are able to open. This situation did not arise when I was using
any previous version of AutoCad LT. Can anyone help?

I am not sure that is an Outlook problem, is it? Does this not happen when
emailing with another client? Does it still happen when you save the
attachment locally first and launch it from Windows Explorer and not the
email?

Is the extension for the AutoCad file (.dwf? .dwg?) associated with Adobe
for some reason?
