Auto-reset chips... supplier sought

M

Martin

Hey folks..

Given that I'm getting more and more confident with my CIS skills I'm
now in a position that I want to start creating my own kits. It's taken
me somewhere in the region of 3 months to figure out which parts I need
and where to source most of them but the issue I've hit hardest is that
of finding a reliable auto-reset chip manufacturer/supplier that doesn't
cost the earth.

I'm well aware that MIS offer their own at $15 a chip which seems pretty
much like daylight robbery so the question I'd like to put out is, are
there any recommendations or possible places to try that will sell these
chips.

The models I'm looking for are:
- R200 up to R240
- R300 up to R340
- C84 up to D/C88
- R2100 ->

Any hints, links, etc... much appreciated...

Thanks in advance

Martin

I guess they let you back out of the institution. It was quiet for a while.

If only they would teach him/her/it how to use a keyboard (or to play
with his little bucket and spade on the freeway, preferably).

When I need to build 15 crs for my store, I special ordered 100 chips
from weink.com and got them for $5.00 each and got free shipping as
well. That was the minimum quantity they would sell at below retail and
they did mix and match. you can call them at 1-800-559-3465

Thanks for that CP... Can you attest to the quality of the chips and
what sort of algorithm they use?
