I am using Windows 2000 EN Pro and Office 2003 EN Pro package, and our
company has a Exchange 2000 host as mail server.

When my colleage set his 'auto reply' function up, others can receive
the out of office message correctly, but when I got his auto reply
message there was '??????' with the subject of the auto replied email,
so I want to know whether this is a Outlook related setting or not, if
so how to force the subject display English font ONLY? THX

What are the respective message encoding types for both you and the sender?
Sounds like you are using a funky one.

After furious head scratching, (e-mail address removed) asked:

Now I set my encoding type to English (US), and the auto reply message
sound like works, by the way previously my encoding type is Chinese, I
think it's the reason for the strange char.
