Auto Internet Explorer Launch

I NEED HELP PLEASE... my internet explorer gets launched
automatically with my SBC internet browser. PLEASE HELP I
DON'T KNOW HOW TO STOP IT FROM BEING LAUNCHED!!!! I am
getting alot of pop ups thru my internet explorer browser.
