I use an Excel workbook to record used inventory and
advertising on a weekly basis. I've done this for over a
year, and recently began experiencing difficulties with
Auto Filter bringing back hidden rows and jumbling the
data results. I may have 8 variations or combinations in
a column that I'd like to auto filter for the unhidden
rows only. There are no formulas in this workbook,
merely data that I sort and filter in various ways.
When I notice that the results are not correct, I've also
noticed that the cell contents in the column I auto
filtered are not staying in the row they belong.
Is there a setting or method that would improve my
results?
