auto-exit outlook

Is there a way (via batch file, etc.) to automatically exit Outlook? I have
a system that is on 24/7 and the only way to make a backup of the outlook.pst
file from that system (short of doing it manually) is to have a batch file
that exits outlook, copies the pst file to a backup location, then
reactivates outlook; and this all can be scheduled to run at midnight or
something. But the missing link is the auto-exit of outlook.

I use PSKill http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/PsKill.html to terminate
prior to running my backup then restart after backup has completed.
Whether you use a batch file or not depends on the backup app you are using.
eg the backup app I use has an option to run an app(pskill) prior to running
the backup then restarts OL after backup has completed

I've got a complete example script for this already posted here;
