Hi Folks-
I've done some research but haven't found anything about this. In
Win2K, normally the Pagefile.sys is deleted from the HD upon shutdown
and recreated when the system boots. This reduces the amount of used
space on the disk when an image backup is made (for example, using ghost
or drive-image).
XP seems to leave the Pagefile.sys there, which makes the image backups
much larger.
Is there some way to easily have the system delete the page file upon
shutdown? I know I could always manually move the page file by
changing the system settings about how big the file can be and which
drive(s) it lives on, but I'd rather something more automatic.
Thanks in advance!
Marc
